About Trefoil Guild

Trefoil Guild is part of the Girlguiding family for men and women aged 18 and over. We support Girlguiding and others by carrying the spirit of Girlguiding into our communities. Offering opportunities is a key part of Trefoil. When you meet with your Trefoil Guild you can find like-minded friends to share adventures and activities. We try new challenges and get involved in all sorts of exciting activities. We laugh all the way and encourage each other to keep on going, never mind which one of us capsizes the canoe or dances out of time!

About Cambridgeshire West Trefoil Guild

In Cambridgeshire West Trefoil Guild, we have over 100 members across the county in seven different guilds. Although we come from different guilds, events together are always filled with laughter and fun. In 2025 we are looking forward to continuing to challenge ourselves. Everything from aprons made from jeans to zero alcohol cocktails, we have visiting speakers from RNLI and Cambs Shared Lives amongst others. There are trips to the theatre and boat trips. We've had units celebrating their 1st and another 50 years anniversaries. But mostly spending time with friends from all backgrounds, ages, and experience. Come and join the fun!

The county chairs of Cambridgeshire West Trefoil Guild are Elaine Hickey and Liz Elmore who can be contacted on: [email protected]

How do they support Girlguiding in Cambridgeshire West?

Many members of Trefoil Guild are also involved in running units; which provides lots of benefits for Girlguiding as well as Trefoil Guild. As we work closely, we are more aware of things we might be able to do to help each other.

We are often invited to support Girlguiding at county events, and we do much more than making the tea! From helping to run disco parties for Gold Rainbow, Brownie and Guide award winners to supporting Rainbows explore STEM activities. Sometimes we are asked to support at division, district or even unit events. An extra pair of hands and some experience is always appreciated.

If you spot us at any Girlguiding events, please come and say hello.
